MORE THAN PURE TRANSLATION … WE ARE CERTIFIED

Certification – a seal of quality

The translation industry is open to anyone. For customers it is therefore often difficult to assess the competence and, most importantly, the quality of a translation service provider because you may not have any knowledge of the relevant language.

Puretrans Zertifizierung

Certificates

Our certification under the Language Industry Certification System (LICS) in accordance with ISO 17100  is an international mark of excellence that proves the quality of our services. We first obtained this certification in 2008 and followed it up with successful biennial re-audits and re-certifications in 2014 and 2020. Each of these inspections was performed by Austrian Standards plus GmbH in Vienna. This European standard defines the required qualifications for all persons involved in the translation process and the requirements for managing translation projects.

ISO 17100 replaces EN 15038

On May 1, 2015, the new International Standard ISO 17100 on Translation Services has been published. In the member countries of the European Committee for Standardisation, this ISO standard will be endorsed as European Standard EN ISO 17100 and replaces EN 15038. The two standards are identical in their technical outcome, therefore our EN 15038 certificate (no. S 2008010) has been migrated from EN 15038 to an ISO 17100 certificate without further assessment procedure.
