Certification – a seal of quality
The language services industry is not subject to any entry requirements. For customers, it is therefore often difficult to assess the expertise and, more importantly, the quality of a translation service provider because they may not have any knowledge of the relevant language.
Certification
Our certification by the Language Industry Certification System (LICS) is in accordance with ISO 17100 and represents an international seal of approval which attends to the quality of our services. We first obtained this certification in 2008 and since then have successfully completed all subsequent re-audits and re-certifications. Each of these inspections was performed by Austrian Standards plus GmbH in Vienna. This European standard defines the required qualifications for all individuals involved in the translation process and the requirements for project management in translation.
Top quality assurance for customers
Our quality assurance processes ensure that PURETRANS consistently delivers high quality translations and adheres to detailed guidelines when selecting its translators and proofreaders. We are also very thorough in our application of the four-eyes principle. Our project management processes are based on clear, standardised guidelines which are also supported by our Plunet Business Manager tool. Final checks by the project manager provide an additional layer of quality control and further enhance the quality of the delivered translation.
